A team led by Allies and Morrison is designing a new, innovative and interconnected home for Imperial's School of Public Health at White City.

Located on the North Site of Imperial’s White City Campus, the building will provide collaborative, flexible and interactive research and teaching spaces for the College’s academics, students and the wider community.

The new School of Public Health will amplify work in four key areas: world health, food and nutrition, community health and policy, and children’s health and wellbeing.

The news comes after Imperial launched a £100m fundraising campaign to support the School’s expansion. A landmark £25m donation from alumna and philanthropist Marit Mohn was announced earlier this summer, which will establish a world-leading centre for children’s health and wellbeing within the School of Public Health.

With Allies and Morrison having been appointed as architect, the wider design team includes structural engineers Curtins, building services engineering consultancy Hoare Lea, Buro Happold as facade engineer and Arcadis as Cost and Project Managers.

This project builds on ongoing work between Imperial and Allies and Morrison. In 2014, the practice was appointed to design the new Michael Uren Biomedical Research Hub . The 13 storey, 20,000 sqm building will provide flexible office and laboratory space for translational research initiatives at the interface of biomedical sciences and engineering.

In 2016, Allies and Morrison were subsequently appointed to masterplan the southern portion of the White City Campus .
