Know the lingo
From academic year 2018/19 the Graduate School and Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication will
offer free language classes
to postgraduate research students.
The pilot project, running throughout the 2018/19 academic year, will explore the Imperial postgraduate community’s interest in receiving a similar choice of language teaching as undergraduate students currently receive.
A total of 150 places will be available across the Horizons and Evening Class programmes in those classes that have not yet reached maximum capacity.
Professor Sue Gibson
, Director of the Graduate School, said: “This is a fabulous opportunity for postgraduate research students to develop new language skills and to gain a deep insight into a culture other than their own. We look forward to developing this further in the future in response to student interest and feedback”.
