80% of UCL students are satisfied with the quality of their course
Four out of five UCL students are satisfied with the quality of their course, according to the National Student Survey 2018, published by the Office for Students today.
But Professor Anthony Smith, UCL Vice-Provost (Education & Student Affairs), acknowledges there is more work to do to improve student satisfaction at UCL. He said: “We acknowledge that we have more to do and we are working hard to improve our students’ experience by enhancing our teaching, transforming our central London campus and developing a brand new dedicated student centre in Bloomsbury and our new UCL East campus in Stratford.
“As one of the world's leading universities, our aim is to give all our students the opportunity to carry out intellectually-stretching research and interact with world-class academic staff. As a result, over 93 per cent of UCL students graduate with a high level degree (1st or 2:1).
“Our students also benefit from all the fantastic opportunities that are on offer in London – including volunteering, work experience, networking and employment – and our graduate employability ranks highly in the UK and globally. We also work closely in partnership with our student community, including more than 1,000 students on our consultation panel, to shape the future of education at UCL.”
